As CEO of SSP America, George’s remit covers the USA, Canada and South America.
George joined SSP America in 2017, initially as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller, before assuming the role of Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining SSP America, George worked at Compass Group, in both the American and Canadian markets, as well as at Sodexo Canada.
With over two decades of experience in business administration and financial management, George’s expertise spans strategy, financial reporting, treasury, financial controls, financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, cost management, risk assessment, analysis of new business opportunities, and more. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and certified management accountant (CMA) and holds an MBA in finance from the United States International University Africa.

With 30 years of experience in the food and beverage industry and having joined SSP in 2014, Michael leads a talented team driven by a passion for bringing cool, authentic restaurants
Prior to SSP, Michael held various management and leadership roles at Compass Group plc, Eurest and Morrison Healthcare.

Jonathan is the Deputy CEO.
Jonathan brings extensive financial, strategic and commercial experience with over 29 years working within retail and FMCG companies. Jonathan’s tenure within the Group gives him a deep knowledge of the business, which along with his capital markets experience, enables him to provide clear financial, operational and strategic oversight to the Company as it looks to implement its strategy.
Jonathan began his career in Unilever plc’s management development programme before joining OC&C as a start-up, where he was part of its rapid growth and development to become a leading international consulting firm. Jonathan then spent nine years at Safeway plc (with five years on the Executive Board as Finance Director).
He holds a degree in Chemistry from Oxford University and an MBA from INSEAD Business School, France.
